Nudibranch, Mating, Hydroid, Underwater

These delicate looking nudibranchs, Tenellia sibogae, are mating, surrounded by the stinging hydroids on which they feed. Once ingested, the hydroids' stinging cells are actually kept as live captives by the nudibranchs, transferred to the tips of their colorful cerrata for their own self-defense!
